She Wrote, He SangOnce there was a girl who wrote poems instead of sleeping and she
Loved a boy who sang when he didn't know she listened

She wrote, "Dear boy, I love you"
And he sang, "Dear girl, I cannot love you back"

This answer did not satisfy and did not deter her
So she waited more and wrote less

For three months she waited with pen poised above paper
Her mind too full of him to bring her hand to write

Then she wrote, "Dear boy, I loved you enough to wait"
And he sang, "Dear girl, I am glad you waited"

The boy started singing sweetly in her ear
The girl wrote no more so that she could listen instead

The Lunacy of Insecurity

Insecurity creates madmen from lovers.

Insecurity convinces you that the person who loved you two hours ago has somehow, over that course of time, changed his or her mind.

Insecurity causes you to look at everyone as an enemy. Everyone is a potential threat, with no greater intention than stealing your lover away.

Insecurity tells you that your love could easily be cheating on you. After all, he or she knows you better than anyone and could easily play you.

Insecurity keeps you up at night and forces you to think of all the ways things can go wrong. It makes you forget how everything has all ready gone right.

Insecurity invents situations that do not exist and plant them firmly in your mind.

Insecurity convinces you that he or she can't really love you. After all, you don't even love yourself.

Insecurity creates madmen from lovers.

And Insecurity makes sure that madness is what makes your worst fears come true.

I feel like submitting things to the right folder is some sort of game...that I lose a lot.

Anyway, after a day of stewing in my own insecurity, I found myself seriously questioning why I let myself feel the way I do. I seem to be under the impression that my boyfriend can stop loving me within an hours time.

I know I'm not the only one that feels that way...so enjoy.
